Principal’s message

Hello everyone! 

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Notre-Dame school for the 2023-2024 school year. 

This year, we are continuing to implement our Continuous Improvement Plan in which we have two main objectives: improving students' literacy skills and providing a positive, caring and inclusive school environment.

We continue to implement the concept of a positive school climate where our behavioural expectations are taught explicitly from the start of the school year. This year, we will hold as important the values of the seven sacred teachings: love, respect, honesty, courage, wisdom, humility and truth. These values will be worked on daily to allow each student to develop their full potential and flourish. 

Each student will be asked to make efforts and develop strategies in order to succeed in their learning. School staff are committed to guiding your child in developing these strategies. We will implement interventions that will help students succeed academically as well as socio-emotionally. If a student needs targeted or specialized strategies in order to succeed, we will put these in place to help each of our students to become as independent as possible. 

Our school offers a safe and caring atmosphere where we share our values and cultures in a positive way. We care about everyone's success and appreciate your collaboration in this vision.
